Senseair in United States House Committee hearing

On Thursday, the Consumer Protection and Commerce Subcommittee held a hearing on enhancing vehicle technology to prevent drunk driving in which Senseairs high resolution platform was promoted.

On Thursday 14th March, the Consumer Protection and Commerce Subcommittee (a subcommittee within the United States House Committee on Energy and Commerce, one of the standing committees of the United States House of Representatives) held a hearing on enhancing vehicle technology to prevent drunk driving in which Senseairs high-resolution platform was promoted.

In this meeting, Rob Strassburger, President and CEO of the Automotive Coalition for Traffic Safety (ACTS) talked about the breath-based solution in which Senseair is the core technology.

"DADSS technology holds the greatest promise, and are likely the fastest way reversing the drunk driving trends in the United States", Mr Strassburger says.

"The breath-based system measures alcohol as the driver breathes normally, seated in the driver seat", he continues, also emphasising the importance of sober drivers not being hassled by the technology.
